Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains how Wellnest Wellbeing collects, uses and looks after your personal information when you use this website. It also sets out your rights and how the law protects you.

Who we are

Wellnest Wellbeing is operated by Katherine Dandridge, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Katherine Dandridge is the data controller, which means she is responsible for deciding how your personal information is held and used.

If you have any questions about this policy or about your personal information, you can contact us at hello@wellnestwellbeing.com.

What information we collect

When you sign up to receive our free guide or join our mailing list, we collect:

  • Your first name
  • Your email address

We may also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit the site, such as your browser type, device type and general location. This is used only to understand how the site is being used and is not linked to your identity.

We do not collect any health information through this website, and we ask that you do not send us details of any health condition by email. If you are a patient of the clinic, any clinical records are held separately under the clinic's own confidentiality arrangements.

Why we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Send you the free guide you requested
  • Send you occasional emails with educational content, updates and information about our courses
  • Respond to any enquiry you send us

Our legal basis for using your information

We rely on your consent. When you enter your details to receive the guide, you are consenting to us sending you that guide and further emails of a similar nature. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and doing so will not affect anything we have done before you withdrew it.

Where we respond to a direct enquiry from you, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering questions about our services.

How long we keep your information

We keep your details for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your details from our active list, though we may retain a record of your unsubscribe request so that we do not contact you again by mistake.

If you have not opened any of our emails for three years, we may remove you from the list to keep our records accurate.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We use third party services to run this website and our mailing list, and your information is processed by them on our behalf. These currently include:

  • Mailchimp, which stores our mailing list and sends our emails
  • Netlify, which hosts this website
  • Google, which provides website analytics

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected to a standard equivalent to UK law.

We may also disclose information if we are required to do so by law.

Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and how people arrive. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device type and browser. This information is not used to identify you personally. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Object to us using your information, or ask us to restrict how we use it
  • Ask us to transfer your information to another provider
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. For anything else, email hello@wellnestwellbeing.com and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

This website and our emails are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, please contact us and we will remove them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top.

A note on health information

The content on this website and in our guides and courses is general educational information. It is not medical advice and cannot diagnose any condition. Always consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional about any symptoms or health concerns.
